Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their reading and comprehension skills while learning about challenges. They will practicing making inferences and text to self connections.
I have taught this book about adolescent challenges for the past several years to 12 and 13 year old middle school students.
Students will have reading homework and comprehension worksheets to complete for every class meeting:

Day #1 - read chapters 1-4.5 (pages 1-71)

Day #2 - read chapters 5-9 (pages 72-152)

Day #3 - read chapters 9.5-13.5 (pages 153-229) 

Day #4 - last discussion day, plot diagram, no homework
