Class Experience

Ms. Carol has been a voracious reader since childhood. Her lifelong passion is to cultivate curiosity in children, and to inspire a lifelong love of learning, especially the reading and enjoyment of beautiful literature! 
Week 1 - Please read chapters 1-6 BEFORE class!
Week 2 - Please read chapters 7-12 BEFORE class! 
Week 3 - Please read chapters 13-18 BEFORE class! 
Week 4 - Please read chapters 19-24 BEFORE class! 
Week 5 - Please read chapters 25-30 BEFORE class! 
Week 6 - Please read chapters 31-36 BEFORE class! 
Week 7 - Please read chapters 37-42 BEFORE class! 
Week 8 - Please read chapters 43-48 BEFORE class!
Week 9 - Please read chapters 49-54 BEFORE class!
Week 10 - Please read chapters 55-58 BEFORE class! 
Students will need a copy of the book Ember’s End by S.D. Smith. The assigned chapters must be read or listened to BEFORE class. Students can use their own books, library books, ebook, or even listen to the audio book. If listening to the audiobook, it is highly recommended that student reads independently to develop their own reading comprehension and competency.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
