Perfect for nonreaders, beginning readers, and proficient readers.
In this weekly book club, students will read/ hear a new story each week and come to class ready to have a good time.
We will discuss reading comprehension questions, learn about the story elements, discuss vocabulary words, learn different genre, literary forms, and play a game or have art projects and/or other activities with each book. Students also review letters, sounds, numbers colors, and much more.
If we have any additional time after our discussion and activity we will be drawing pictures of our favorite parts of the story and/ or using reading maps to focus on story elements.
