As a former school librarian, I have a passion for reading, reading with others, and connecting people with books they love. The goal of this class is to encourage a love of reading and to connect reading and writing together. I want each student to know they too can be an author and love reading. The ultimate goal of this class is to encourage a love of reading and writing. I want students to be able to connect books they love to read to their writing and know they are authors too.
I am a licensed Pre-K - 4 grade teacher and a licensed Pre-k- 12th grade school librarian with my Masters in Library Science.
If the writing activity is not completed in class, students have the option of completing after class and posting to share with the group.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
