In this ongoing course, students will be read a book. We will hold a class discussion, sharing thoughts and opinions.
Class experience
In this ongoing course, your child will hear one story each week. We will stop throughout the story to discuss questions. We will review things such as Author and Author's purpose, illustrations/illustrator, problem/solution, main idea and details, as well as reader's opinion. At the end of class, we will draw a picture depicting what the story means to us. Students will be allowed to share their drawings with the class. Please bring a blank paper and pencil for this part!
