Description

Class Experience

Join us as we talk about an amazing series of books! 

The first 10 minutes of class will be spent discussing the plot of that week's book and allowing students to share favorite parts. 
The remaining time will be spent discussing what the characters (and the student) learned from the challenges they faced. We will learn more about the time and place where the book takes place, and what is fact vs fiction in the story. We'll talk about history, conquering our fears and more.

We expect that...

We will begin book 1 the first week of January and discuss one book each week. If you have questions about what book we are on please feel free to message the instructor.

Please read the book of the week before class begins.

It's helpful, but not required, that you bring your copy of the week's book to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
