Class Experience
In this book club, we will be reading Holes by Louis Sachar. Students will be given a list of chapters to read, vocabulary to define as well as guiding questions to think and journal about prior to class session. Once in class, students will engage in a conversation about the week's required reading and any questions that they may have. We will focus on theme, character development, plot, point of view, discussions with evidence to back up claims. Session 1: Chapters 1-13 Session 2: Chapters...
Students will be asked to complete the required reading, vocabulary and questions outside of class. Approximately 10-15 chapters a week.
