Description
Class Experience
Students will gain skills in the following areas: - public speaking - taking turns speaking - practicing active listening - sharing thoughts and insights - building vocabulary - knowledge of scientific formula - exploring the characters, settings, and plot
Please read chapters BEFORE class! Chapters 1-4 Chapters 5-8 Chapters 9-12 Chapters 13-16
Students will need a copy of the book Heartwood Hotel - Home Again by Kallie George. The assigned chapters must be read or listened to BEFORE class. Students can use their own books, library books, or ebooks.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
