Class Experience
"Yer a wizard, Harry!" Join Harry Potter as he discovers his magical powers and embarks on his first year as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! For each class meeting, learners read discuss 2-3 chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. In addition, learners will engage in creative projects related to what they're reading. They will rewrite one chapter from another character's perspective, come up with their own magical spells and potions, and more. In each...
Learners will improve their ability to engage in book discussions with their peers. Learners will also get to stretch their creative muscles through various projects.
Learners will be assigned 2-3 chapters per session to read. They will also be assigned different creative projects to complete before each meeting.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Anything they need to write and/or draw in order to complete the assignments.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
