Class Experience
In this fun Book Club reading class, students will read and discuss the chapter book "Flight of the Red Bandit" from the Geronimo Stilton series. The story is about a silly mouse who goes on an adventure with his friends. There is no need to purchase the book, as the entire story will be provided and covered during the class time. Students will have an opportunity to improve their reading skills. We will practice reading aloud with fluency, accuracy and expression. We will use reading comprehension strategies to develop a good understanding of what is read and allow them to discuss the story and connect it to what they already know.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
