Class Experience
Does your child need support to develop their reading fluency? Or perhaps they need more exposure to comprehension questions? In this small group class, students will take turns reading from a given passage together. Students will be supported by the teacher and their peers, and given top tips and constructive feedback to help them improve their reading skills such as pace, intonation, pronunciation, or clarity. Students will improve their reading skills such as pace, intonation, and pronunciation. Students will develop and progress with their comprehension and understanding of a given text. Students will be able to scan and identify facts from a given passage.
Students will be provided with the text prior to the start of class so they can read through it at home, if they wish to along with extra, optional comprehension questions they can complete.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
