No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
This novel deals with some topics that may be objectionable to some, but it is written in an age-appropriate context. The main character has the harrowing experience of being in a plane crash due to the pilot suffering from a heart attack. In his quest to survive, the main character must kill wild animals. Another layer of the story unfolds as the main character is also dealing with his feelings about his parents' divorce. I will post a Kahoot link at the end of each week to optional games or quizzes based on that week's reading.
