In this fun, energetic, once a week book club, students will engage fully in discussing an exciting Dragon Masters book each week! This series, written by Tracey West, is aimed at newly independent readers. With easy-to-read text, high-interest content, fast-paced plots, and illustrations on every page, these books will boost reading confidence and stamina. And this book club is a perfect introductory experience! Books will be read ahead of time, before class. The books are also available as audiobooks! All of class time will be dedicated to discussing the books, playing fun games rand ending with a round of “Would You Rather” questions, all related to the book. This class is designed to be fully interactive and students are expected to be fully engaged. While there is grace for nervous and shy students, of course, if interacting with teacher and peers is painfully uncomfortable for your student, this class is not a good fit for them. Students will need a copy of the Dragon Masters series, by Tracey West! Books can be purchased or borrowed from your local library, and they are available on Kindle and Audible, as well!
