Class Experience
If you loved “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” then come join me as we read about Charlie Bucket’s next journey to far away places in Roald Dahl’s sequel “Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator”! We'll visit a hotel in outer space, Minusland, the White House and of course Willy Wonka's Famous chocolate factory. We will learn about aliens, anti-aging potions, re-aging potions, and more! This class will help your child develop their reading, vocabulary, book analysis and socializing...
Students will be asked to read approximately 10 pages a day (4-6 chapters a week) outside of class and complete simple assignments as they read.
Students will need a digital or hard copy of the book “Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator” by Roald Dahl. They will also need paper and pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
