In this fun and interactive 40 minute, twice a week for four weeks book club with Ms. Pamela, we will read Book Scavenger. We will play games, look at the story elements and talk about various books. Reading the required segments assigned. Please do not read ahead so we are all on the same page in our discussions and we can enjoy the book together as a group. The book Book Scavenger by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman Paper and something to write with such as colored pencils, pens, markers or just a pencil. We will be playing games that will require active participation using them. A notebook to keep a vocabulary journal
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
At the start of the book one of the central characters to the story is shot. There are not a lot of details or gore but I want you to be aware a gun is involved.
