This is a 4 week, 40-minute, teacher led novel study of Elmer and the Dragon with an art component done by the children. MUST READ MY FATHER'S DRAGON BEFORE TAKING THIS CLASS. This class is a great way for children to interact with other children through the discussion of the four story elements, in which we will pick one to discuss each week. We will answer chapter comprehension questions about our book each week, and draw pictures of similar story elements from Elmer and the Dragon....
* Students will enhance reading comprehension. * Students will build their creativity. * Students will learn critical thinking skills while discussing four important story elements * Sharing what they drew each class to others increases descriptive vocabulary
Homework Offered

A copy of the book Elmer and the Dragon clean sheets of paper, whether construction, computer etc. Pens, pencils, colored pencils, crayons etc. whatever child prefers to use while in class
