Description

Class Experience

Students will learn new vocabulary and how they are used in language. They will learn how to find the setting of a story and why that is important to making a story interesting. We will explore the use of language and how it can give us a visual picture of what we are reading. We will learn about character development over the story's plot. We will learn about the history and emotional elements of the story and compare that to our own experiences and lives today.
I have a Masters degree in English and teach reading and literacy in the public school system. Highly interesting reading is a great vehicle to learn excellent English skills in an enjoyable way.
