In this multi-day class, we will read a section of each graphic novel together and discuss different elements of the story and vocabulary read throughout the text. Students will be encouraged to write and speak in complete sentences.

We will be reading books 1 and 2 from the Amulet Series by Kazu Kibuishi, there are a total of 8 books in the series. We will read, discuss and look at different elements of the story together.  Students will respond to questions by typing their answers online.

Please note that book one starts with a parent's death. The series also includes creepy monsters, some violence, evil elves/people, blood, dark mood at times, and anthropomorphic animals.
