Description
Class Experience
Students will gain skills in the following areas: - public speaking - taking turns speaking - practicing active listening - sharing thoughts and insights - building vocabulary - knowledge of scientific formula - exploring the characters, settings, and plot
Please read chapters BEFORE class! Chapters 1-5 Chapters 6-10 Chapters 11-14 Chapters 15-17
Students will need a copy of the book Zoey and Sassafras - Grumplets and Pests by Asia Citro. The assigned chapters must be read or listened to BEFORE class. Students can use their own books, library books, ebooks, or even listen to the audio books. If listening to the audiobooks, it is highly recommended that student reads independently to develop their own reading comprehension and competency.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
