Students will make their own handmade books. They will make and design a different book each day of the week. Week 1: Make 2 different books out of 1 page of paper. Students can choose from 3 different templates then make and design their book Week 2: Make a Star or Snake book. Student will create a 3-5 page Star or Snake book, design their pages and put them together Week 3: Students will make a hand sewn filed journal for their own use or to give as a gift These are great book to make for gifts for the holidays ... either blank or filled in with unique stories, pictures or photographs! Handmade books are a wonderful way to give a personalized gift and in this class students will learn at least 6 different books and have prototypes to look back on if needed!

Supply List
a bunch of copy paper card stock glue stick scissors pens/pencils/markers/pastels - whatever the student likes to express with needle thread cardboard art/decorative paper or cut images. take out chopsticks or a pencil rubber band a small box
