Bonne Année, Happy New Year! Vocab for the French Beginner

In this class, students will learn how to talk about things related to the New Year such as fireworks, party, hat, celebrate, etc. in French through repetition and voice variation. This class will be teaching vocabulary about New Years celebrations so students can talk about the new year in French! Students will interact with each other and the teacher continually throughout the class and will learn words and simple sentences together. This is a fun class for students just beginning to learn French or for students looking to brush up on holiday vocabulary. 

Repetition for language acquisition is key and will play a large part in this course, both in the form of speaking and singing (don't worry, you don't need to be a professional. It's just for fun!) This is a beginner level French class and there is no prerequisite learning. 

Students will receive a handout reviewing the material covered after class. 

In order for all students to hear me in class, I employ a strict muting policy. I will unmute students one at a time so they can work with me, and all students will have many opportunities to speak. Young students may need a parent to help them unmute. I go over the muting policy in each class as a reminder to students. Additionally, due to Outschool policy, students must identify themselves on camera at least once at the beginning of class.
