1 hour per week. Students are not assigned any homework, but are encouraged to practice the new words they've learned through Quizlet.Class Experience
In this course students will learn the following: "Hello!" "Good Evening" "My name is ______" "How are you" "I'm _____, thanks" "Thank you" "You're welcome' "Goodbye! See you later" "Mr. _____" "Mrs. ______" "Miss ______" "Excuse me" "I'm sorry" "I don't understand" "I don't know" "Do you speak English?" We will discuss both the formal and informal ways to speak with others. This course is designed to be an introduction to the French language, and includes the basic vocabulary you would need if going to a French speaking country. However, I understand there is a lot of new vocabulary in this course, so students will be given access to a quizlet they can use to practice the new vocabulary outside of class! This is also a oral language class, so students are not expected to learn accents or how to write the words. They will be given the English words to match to the French, or provided the French and asked to translate. My goal is for students to leave this class excited about learning a new language and eager for more! À bientôt!
