Bonjou! Level 1 Haitian Creole Class Meeting One Time per Week for Ages 8 To 12

Bonswa! Get ready to have your learner being able to speak, read & write Haitian Creole after they complete this beginner class. After offering this class on Outschool I have created this 6-weeks Level One Course for those who want to use the recordings to practice on their own because school has started for them. Please have your learner come to class on time and prepared to learn this beautiful language. I will review the first 5 to 10 minutes of every class and so the student truly needs to be on time and prepared. Please study the language every day for 20 minutes intervals at least one time every day. Also, have many index cards, a notebook and pen/pencil. See you in class!

Haitian Creole For ages 8 to 12 (1x/week):

Week one:   Greetings/Common Expressions (Homework: Write a simple dialogue in Creole with two people) 
                                                
Week two:     Students email their dialogue. Review; Pronouns & prepositions (Add additional common expressions and greetings with time permitted) (Homework: Write 10 sentences using pronouns and prepositions)   
                                         
Week three:   Review; 10 Verbs (Game: Tic tac Go!) (Homework: Translate sentences from Haitian Creole to English )
                                          
 Week four:    Review; Go over homework; More phrases for conversation (Homework: Write a 3-5 sentences (paragraph) story with words learned so far in Creole)
                    
Week five:   Review; 7 Adjectives (Homework: Write 8 sentences with words learned so far in Creole)
                                                                                
Week six:    Calendar Months/Some Haitian History/Review/Chit chat
