No experience in anatomy or science needed. This introduction-level series runs just like a full semester course, but with the flexibility and convenience of ongoing enrollment. Each week, we will explore a different organ system. We will learn about the anatomy (structure), function (physiology) and related pathology (disease). Classes meet once per week. Learners will engage in hands-on labeling activities, drawing, quizzes and games. An optional study guide will be available to help learners follow along during class. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 ⭐ As per Outschool policy, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬-𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘦𝘣𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘴. I encourage webcams to stay on during class, but it is not mandatory. ⭐ If a learner needs to miss a class, please let me know in advance. Learners who miss a class have access to class material and recordings. Transfers or refunds for the week are an option.

Parental Guidance
Some classes may showcase clinical cases and short videos that may depict surgeries, wounds and/or blood that can be graphic in nature. All material presented is factual and science-based. Topics on the reproductive system will not be covered in this series.

My experience in teaching started when I was in high school as a math and ESL tutor. I majored in life sciences at Queen’s University in Ontario with a minor in psychology. I moved to North Carolina and practiced for 5 years as a chiropractor and acupuncturist before starting a family and embarking on a second career as a university instructor. I have been teaching anatomy & physiology and medical terminology for over 15 years.
