Welcome to the bantam club! In this ongoing course, students will be invited to discuss and share their chickens. We will focus on the ever popular and ever adorable silkie breed. My own silkies will be joining us in class and students are encouraged to bring their silkies or other bantam breeds to class as well. All chicken lovers are encouraged to attend! I will prepare different weekly discussion topics for students. Topics may include chicken care and keeping, diet and treats, discussion of various breeds, standards of breed perfection and the showing of chickens, hatching and raising chicks, as well as any topic students may be interested in themselves. Students are encouraged to come prepared with any material they'd like to share about chickens or any question's they'd like to ask their teacher or classmates. Learning Goals
Students will have fun meeting my chickens and sharing their own chickens with their classmates while learning more about chicken health, keeping, etc.

Hello and welcome to Outschool. My Name is Kalee and I am 27 years old. I live on a ranch in East Texas with my husband and our one-year-old daughter. We also have two dachshunds! I have a Bachelors's in business management from Ohio University. I have my TESOL and TEFL certifications. I have been teaching ESL online for over three years. I have a diverse range of interests and I can't wait to share some of the things I am passionate about with you on Outschool! I am very much interested in marine science. I am SCUBA certified and I grew up on the water. I studied marine science for some time in college as well. I really like sharks and learning all about them! In my classes, we will have a lot of fun learning marine science. I also really love reading and writing. I am an avid reader. I also enjoy baking and decorating cakes. Yum!
