Class Experience

Do you love gaming? If so Bobcat Esports Gaming League is the place for you! Whether you love Fortnite, Minecraft, Super Mario or other popular and not so popular games this class is based as open discussion club that allows learners to share their love of gaming and play games with others who love gaming. We will have respectful discussions and gameplay surrounding video games where students are encouraged to share tips on leveling-up, using tools and weapons, building, and maneuvering through various games. Gamers using all platforms and devices are welcome to join.

Hello! My name is Seth and I am both a certified teacher and documentary filmmaker. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's in Education with an emphasis in History. I am very excited to teach here on Outschool!

I have been a teacher for over 4 years, I have worked with kids ranging from ages 6-16 years old. I have primarily taught social studies in the traditional brick and mortar middle and high school setting. I believe that education should be comprehensive and should draw upon resources of other fields that surround a historical element. In order to bring history to life I plan to incorporate artifacts into some of my lectures. I have also worked with students with special needs and English language learners.  

I began doing documentary film making 2 years ago by traveling and documenting historical sites. I created a YouTube channel in order to preserve these locations and share them with the world. Since starting my channel I have learned in the ins and outs of YouTube and now fully produce, write, and edit my own original content that spans from historical sites to short films and documentary interviews. 

Learning should be fun, exciting, and interactive and I strive to create a classroom setting that is engaging and interactive. I am more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding any of my classes.
