Many early readers contain words that are too difficult for a child who has just learned the sounds of the alphabet. Not these books! Using only the letters M, A, T and S, children can read their first book. Kids love the stories and funny pictures, and can’t wait to read them to everybody they know.If your child knows the alphabet, Bob Books Set 1 is the book to start him or her on the path to reading. The Bob Books Summer Class is a phonics-based, reading introduction class for children. Over the next 10 days, we will focus on books from Set 1 and explore a new book each day. Our time online will be filled with reading, writing, speaking, and drawing activities on phonemic awareness, beginning sounds and CVC words found in each book. This summer course has been designed as an intensive introduction to strengthen reading and writing skills for beginners who are learning how to blend sounds in CVC words. You dont need to have the physical book set , however if you do have it then we can have fun reading it together in the class. The classes are interactive, which means the child will be required to participate in the activties and enjoy fun play with other learners.
