In this class we will be painting a pretty Eastern Blue bird. Class begins with a brief overview discussion of our scene, and from there we will move into sketching and painting! Using a step by step approach, and a variety of techniques, students will learn how to create a simple and dynamic painting, and how to use watercolor paint to its best advantage. - watercolor sketchbook or paper - drawing pencil - eraser - watercolor paint in a variety of colors - round watercolor brushes, in large, medium and small sizes - paper towel or rag to wipe your brushes on.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
