Students will learn: -How to use creative writing to express their ideas and interests through blogging -How to write a blog -How to create website pages and posts -How to create links on a website
I have over 10 years of marketing and communications experience and have written numerous blogs for many different industries including health and fitness, education, sports, wedding, and cosmetics. I also have my own marketing business that has allowed me to build websites for businesses and organizations that include blog/news sections on their websites.
Will there be homework? If a student does not finish his or her work during that day’s lesson, the student will be expected to finish it prior to the next class lesson. This class does meet once a week for 8 weeks and it is expected for each student to keep up with the lessons and any work in the lesson. Students may need to do research to help him or her with the topics.
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR CLASS: -Desktop or Laptop computer -Internet access -Interest to share your own interests and voices with others -A notebook and pen/pencil may be helpful for note taking -The website the student created in the 101 course.
