Description

Class Experience

Day 1: Correct Rhythms - Playing and counting eighth notes, quarter notes, half notes, dotted half notes, and whole notes.
Days 2-5: Keyboard geography, finding the correct keys to play on the keyboard.
Day 2: Finding and playing C, D, E, and E-flat on the keyboard
Day 3: Finding and playing F, G, A, and A-flat on the keyboard; reading first and second endings
Day 4: Finding and playing B and G-flat on the keyboard
Day 5: Finding and playing G-flat on the keyboard, final recital - Tap! Tappey...

Students will learn to play and count rhythms correctly.
Students will master keyboard geography.

Students will be expected to play through each piece of music at least four times between each lesson
