In this 2 week course, students will complete an imaginative story while they practice and refine their skills in beginning math and ELA skills like numbers, basic addition and counting, phonics, phonemic awareness and blending.

Description
Class Experience
Students will refine and practice their knowledge and skills in the following areas: -recognizing and producing rhyming words -letter sounds and blending sounds -counting syllables -number recognition and counting -adding and subtracting within 5 -patterns and shapes
There will be additional *optional* activities provided for students to work on at home if they want to.
Printables will be provided by the teacher at the beginning of each week of class. Students will also need play-doh, scissors, glue, construction paper and crayons or markers. **If you do not want your child using scissors, please cut out the relevant pieces to printables before class time.**
Informal observation during class.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance requested when students are using scissors. You may cut out relevant pieces for class before class time to avoid your child having to use them.
