Like to build sheet or blanket forts? I do too! Let's build our forts before the class starts and join each other in the tent for some stories, games and fun! Help your child build a fun space to enjoy some social time with a small age group in a small class size. We will tell stories and share jokes and learn fun things about each other. Students will learn conversational skills such as turn taking, supportive listening, creative thinking and engineering.
I am a homeschooling mum of 12 years and have taught blanket fort 101 for years.
A sheet, blanket or light fabric, chairs, back of the couch, broom, string to secure corners to safe locations.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please ensure you assist your child in building their blanket fort before class, if they do so during class they might miss some of the conversation.
