Beginner Level
Does your child love talking about black holes and other unusual space phenomena? This is the course for them! Over 12 sessions, we'll explore fascinating special topics in astronomy, including black holes, weird galaxies, supernovae and other fascinating astrophysics subjects. This course is taught by Quantum Physics for Kids instructor Prof. Mark Baraket (M.S. Astrophysics), an experienced astronomy educator with a commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientists. Topics to be discussed include anatomy of black holes, what's inside a black hole, different types of black holes, new research on the Milky Way galaxy, as well as theories related to white holes and wormholes.
