Does your child love talking about black holes and other unusual space phenomena? This is the course for them! Over 12 sessions, we'll explore fascinating special topics in astronomy, including black holes, weird galaxies, supernovae and other fascinating astrophysics subjects. This course is taught by Quantum Physics for Kids instructor Prof. Mark Baraket (M.S. Astrophysics), an experienced astronomy educator with a commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientists. Topics to be discussed include anatomy of black holes, what's inside a black hole, different types of black holes, new research on the Milky Way galaxy, as well as theories related to white holes and wormholes. In our first class, we'll discuss how black holes form and the physics related to black hole formation. 50 mins online live lesson

Class 2 - Anatomy of a Black Hole
In this session, we will discuss the anatomy of black holes and different types of black holes. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Class 3 - Black Holes: What's Inside?
In session 3, we will explore what happens inside a black hole. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Class 4 - Black Holes: Questions and Answers
In this session, we delve into common questions about black holes and discuss student questions as well. 50 mins online live lesson
