It's Black History Month! In this African American History class we will learn about Jackie Robinson and the many barriers he faced as Major League Baseball's first African-American player. In addition we will be creating a craft inspired by #42 himself.

Class Experience
I am a ESL teacher and tutor and I have mentored over 200 teens over the past 6 years through my nonprofit on diversity and current events and continue to lead open group discussions regarding diversity and inclusion for individuals ages 5-18. I have many years of experience facilitating difficult conversations regarding civil rights and African American History. I am committed to creating a safe non bias space for children to express their thoughts and ideas. I also have my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and my Masters of Business Administration.
