Want to blabberize a photo? What does that even mean? Join this class to discover the fun of making pictures talk with Blabberize! This class puts a fun spin on analyzing and interpreting the meaning of art works while developing creativity skills. Blabberizing an image is a unique way to express ourselves. All sorts of surprises and fun will ensue! Students will be supported with how to use the Blabberize website and address the challenge of what sounds to combine with an image. I have a short slideshow presentation and look forward to Your questions and ideas throughout this 45 minute class. ——————————————————- We address the National Visual Art Standard 6: Convey meaning through the presentation of artistic work. This is a mixed media art project with shape as the element of art, emphasis as the principal of design and performance as the modern element of art. This lesson plan embraces student voice and choice as we stretch and explore (studio habit of mind). Students will learn to use tools & materials and better understand the practice of an art form. This lesson reinforces an enduring understanding; Artworks presented communicate meaning and a record of social, cultural and political experiences resulting in the cultivating of appreciation and understanding. We explore an essential question; How does presenting and sharing of artwork influence and shape our ideas, beliefs and understandings? This lesson is part of a larger unit of “Free Fun Art Making Websites” with the goal to reconnect students with the fun learning experience that happens through play. ——————————————————— Please join me for this unique half hour art making class :)
