Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about the different types of animal eyes and their amazing capabilities.
I have been teaching middle school science and math for the past four years. Before becoming a teacher, I was a scientist who studied neuroscience, specifically the visual system. I have also had the opportunity to teach younger students in capacities such as substitute teaching and science fairs. Can't to wait to share my love and passion for science with new students!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will be showing a dissection of a cow eye, which may make some students feel uncomfortable. However, cow eyes are commonly dissected in classrooms, and they are helpful tools to understand the anatomy of the eye.
