Class experience
Welcome to Bitty Broadway, where we follow in the footsteps of musical theatre greats and tread the boards of our own homes like the streets of Broadway. Every class will feature an imaginative and active warmup, a short lesson on a specific dance move, a short dance combination, and ending with a sharing circle to encourage some social time and bonding! Learners will gain confidence, kinesthetic awareness, and improvement in coordination, balance, and agility.
Miss Cassidy is an energetic and experienced educator who has taught young movers to dance for 7 years in brick and mortar schools, performing arts studios, community programs, and cyber schools. She is also a professional performer with a BA in Theatre Arts from Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts.
The only requirements for this class are: a small, clear space for movement (aim for 5ftx5ft square), clothes and shoes you can move in (bare feet acceptable), a water bottle, and because of the physical nature of the class learners will be required to keep their cameras on throughout the class and an adult-supervisor is recommended.
Please be advised that for the safety of your learner it is of the utmost importance parents be aware of any potential hazards and ensure that their learner has an open space, proper footwear, water, and adequate supervision to prevent injuries. This is a physical class, and we will be stretching and warming up safely, but please make sure your Learner is equipped with all the tools they need to succeed!
All class music is used in accordance with a BMI and ASCAP license.
