Perfect for your baby ballerina or just the little one with boundless energy, Bitty Ballet will introduce Learners to the fun and fundamentals of ballet! Each class will begin with an imaginative warm-up and discuss the importance of stretching and strength building to dancing well and safely. Then we'll focus on 1-3 ballet movements, poses, and positions as we learn the meaning of the French words and the proper way to perform the movements in an age-appropriate and fun way physically. ...

I've taught dance to young movers for 7 years in a variety of environments from dance studios to brick and mortar schools to free library programs. In addition to my teaching experience, I am also a professional performer educated at a Conservatory of Performing Arts.
Please be advised that for the safety of your learner it is of the utmost importance parents be aware of any potential hazards and ensure that their learner has an open space, proper footwear, water, and adequate supervision to prevent injuries. This is a physical class, and we will be stretching and warming up safely, but please make sure your Learner is equipped with all the tools they need to succeed!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

We do have built-in time for sharing and chatting, but to ensure the quality of the music for all while we dance, Learners will but muted during music play. If you can stay nearby and assist with your Learner's mute button, that is wonderful! But if not, I have become pretty skilled at helping even our tiniest friends find their mute button. And if you are able, I highly recommend familiarizing your Learner with how they mute/unmute themselves. It'll be beneficial for them across all their classes on Outschool.
