In Bite Sized Recipes, little ones will explore the world of cooking in a fun, hands-on way! This class is designed to help young children develop confidence in the kitchen, explore new foods, and build foundational cooking skills through age-appropriate activities. What Will Be Taught? Children will learn basic kitchen skills such as mixing, measuring, pouring, and assembling simple recipes. We’ll also explore different food textures, colors, and flavors to encourage adventurous eating in a stress-free environment. What Topics Will Be Covered? Kitchen safety and hygiene for little hands Simple measuring and mixing skills Sensory exploration with food (touch, smell, taste) Fun and nutritious recipes designed for young chefs Encouraging curiosity and confidence around food Class Structure & Teaching Style Each class follows a predictable, engaging routine: Welcome & Introduction – A quick hello and overview of the recipe Hands-On Cooking – Step-by-step guidance as kids mix, mash, pour, and create their own dish Food Fun & Exploration – Encouraging sensory play and trying new textures and flavors Wrap-Up & Celebration – Sharing what we made and discussing favorite parts My teaching style is interactive, encouraging, and play-based. I create a warm, positive environment where kids feel excited to participate, ask questions, and engage with their food in a new way. How Will Learners Interact? This class is hands-on, so kids will be actively involved in every step! I guide them through each activity with clear, simple instructions while encouraging creativity and exploration. Parents are welcome to assist as needed to help their child participate fully. By the end of the class, your little chef will feel more confident in the kitchen and excited to try new foods—all while having fun!
