Class experience
US Grade 8 - 12
I offer tutoring sessions for students who need more help in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Calculus or math-based AP Exams. I believe each student has the potential to be successful in math and my goal is to break the stigma that “math is too hard.”
Students will practice math skills that include the following:
Algebra -
Numbers, variables, constants, expressions, equations, linear equations, and quadratic equations
Pre-Calculus -
Complex numbers, rational functions, trigonometric...To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 3x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.I am a former certified (grade 6th to 12th) Mathematics teacher. I taught and tutored math for a number of years and I am very passionate about it!
Homework Offered
Homework will be given at the request of the parent or learner. I will provide 3-5 problems of homework, check it and give feedback to the learner.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
For students who will take these sessions long term, there will be in-class assessments to measure learning growth and progress.Grades Offered
Learners are advised to have scientific/graphing calculators with these sessions.
