Class Experience

Learners will develop a love for animals and have a basic understanding of zoology by engaging in fun discussion and creating a unique drawing of the chosen animal each week.
I am a 4th grade teacher who is passionate about teaching all things Reading & Language Arts. I am especially passionate about integrating other subjects such as, social studies and science, into my reading lessons. I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialty in literacy and bilingual education. I have taught in the public school, private school, and online settings. Teaching little learners about the wonderful world of science is something I am very passionate about.
There will be no homework for this class, but I encourage parents to ask their child what animal they learned about each week.
Supply List: printables (supplied before class) pencil crayons and/or markers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
