Is a tornado or a hurricane more powerful? Why do we have a hurricane season? Why does the United States have more tornadoes than any other country? What's the difference between hurricanes and tornadoes? Find the answers to these questions and many, many more in "Bite-Size Science: Tornadoes vs. Hurricanes!" In this fun and engaging class, students will learn all about these extreme weather events. Using kid-friendly presentation materials, teacher-led discussion, and brainstorming, learners will examine the difference between tornadoes and hurricanes and how meteorologists study these weather phenomena. This course also discusses how hurricanes and tornadoes form and general information about their impacts. Students will also learn how meteorologists measure and classify these events. I will provide students with copies of all course material used during the presentation. Students only need an inquisitive mind, a willingness to learn, and a basic understanding of science. I enjoy student questioning and discussion but each learner may participate as much or as little as the like. I also enjoy telling a joke during each lesson to lighten the mood and create a fun environment. I'll see you in class! Mr. Lee
