In this One-Time Class, students will learn fun and interesting facts about SEA OTTERS. Learners will learn through interactive reading, fun discussion, active listening, and movement. In this class, we will observe real pictures and videos of sea otters. Towards the end of class we will draw a sea otter together and share it with our classmates. Students will learn fun facts about sea otters while completing interactive activities and a sea otter craft.
I am a 4th grade teacher who is passionate about teaching all things Reading & Language Arts. I am especially passionate about integrating other subjects such as, social studies and science, into my reading lessons. I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialty in literacy and bilingual education. I have taught in the public school, private school, and online settings. Teaching little learners about the wonderful world of life science is something I am very passionate about.
There will be no homework for this class, but I encourage parents to ask their child what they learned about sea otters.
Supply List: printables (supplied before class) pencil crayons and/or markers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
