In this one-time class we will decorate a cake, blow up balloons, prepare presents and play traditional Russian birthday game Karavai. Children will use their sorting, counting skills, review colors and shapes. We'll have fun!

Class Experience
students will: -practice speaking Russian -use birthday vocabulary -learn new words -review colors -review shapes -count -sort by size -match by color -be exposed to Russian culture through traditional Russian fairy-tale and cartoon characters -learn a traditional Russian birthday game and song Karavai
1 file available upon enrollmentDear parents, please provide your child with: - 1 stuffed animal - 1 sheet of construction paper (any color) - printout with cards, please cut pictures apart (see the attached file)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
