Welcome to this Birthday in Minecraft course for young Minecraft players. I am so glad you are here. I cannot wait to see what your learner creates. 

🎈 This course contains 7 lessons. I will share a Minecraft book read aloud for early readers using an engaging book reading style. I will also share a variety of fun, engaging, inspiring, and informative educator created Minecraft birthday themed content via video tutorials and optional activity pages. 

🎂 Video lessons include Minecraft tutorials including creating birthday presents, crafting candles, creating multiple balloon styles including using Minecraft Chemistry, creating a cake in Minecraft, and Minecraft experience and build challenges for learners. Also included are bonus Minecraft themed activity pages including mazes, a book review writing document, and a printing optional maze and Sudoku activity page that I have created for our class. I will be reading with author permission: The Birthday Bee: An Unofficial Minecraft Story for Early Readers by Anna Kopp. 

🕯️ Learners do not need to be able to read, or have copies of the book used, to actively participate in this course. I respond quickly to all learner questions and posts. I am responsive, engaging, inclusive, and empowering. Minecraft Bedrock and Education Edition are welcome.

🎈 Learners are encouraged to respond to experience & build challenges, & discussion questions as they wish, posting images/screen recordings/descriptions, with their grown-up's assistance if needed, of their art/craft/ Minecraft builds. Learning Needs
I create my classes to be neurodiverse & neurodivergent inclusive for dyslexia, autism ASD, 2e, gifted, ADHD, & PDA. I am homeschool friendly. I am a neurodivergent person myself, and an experienced, highly trained & certified educator.

*Learners do not need to be able to read, or have copies of the book used, to actively participate in this course. I respond quickly to all learner questions and posts. I am responsive, engaging, inclusive, and empowering. *Minecraft Bedrock and Education Edition are welcome. Minecraft gaming app/software is needed (and not provided) for this class. *Learners will be playing Minecraft on their own devices. Gamer tags are not required to be shared as we are not gaming together in a server/realm in this course. *Completing the challenges and viewing/printing of any of my created content is completely optional. *Minecraft contains cartoon type violence without blood or gore. *There are no live meetings in this asynchronous self-paced course.

I homeschool my own young Minecrafter and am an avid Minecrafter myself. 

As a neurodivergent person myself, homeschooling my own neurodivergent young Minecraft learner, I design my courses to be inclusive and accessible. I continuously seek to be affirming and empowering towards every learner in every class.
