There's so much to notice right in our own neighborhoods! Birds are everywhere we are and I'll bet you have more than you think right nearby your home. In this 2 session class, we'll learn how to notice and identify birds in our own neighborhoods. Because Outschool is an International classroom, we have a unique ability to see birds that only dwell in certain regions while learning our own region's birds. This will be an introduction to bird watching that will encourage connection with nature, enjoying our surroundings and noticing how we are all interconnected to each other and the bird world.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn quick tips to get started watching and identifying bird size and colors, behavior, habitat, food sources, and nesting sites.
