Bird watchers! Do you like to draw? Students who love nature drawing will learn how to use a variety of coloured pencil techniques to draw their favourite birds. Their creativity will be inspires by my step-by-step visual demonstrations of the process for drawing in a realistic style. I show my own bird sketchbook every week and are so excited to see the sketchbooks of the learners in the class as well. I am a certified visual arts teacher with an Education B.A. from the University of Toronto in Canada. I have taught for over 20 years in elementary schools and in online ESL classrooms. I have a passion for nature art and exploring the wonderful world of wildlife. My personal sketchbook is filled with drawings of birds, animals, landscapes and flowers. I love inspiring young learners to observe the real world as nature artists.
