This comprehensive course delves into five major biomes: forest, grassland, tundra, aquatic, and desert. Perfect for a Summer enrichment course or throughout the school year. This course offers a flexible and engaging way to explore the wonders of our planet's ecosystems at your own pace. This is a self paced course with no live sessions. You will have access to teacher communication for the duration of the course (5 weeks) and teacher will respond within 24 hours. Activities provided will include interactive lessons from Nearpod, short YouTube videos, pre-recorded teacher videos, digital games, printable activities such as worksheets, workbooks, games, and/or flashcards.

Overview of forest biomes (tropical, temperate, boreal), Key characteristics (climate, vegetation, and geography), Common plants and trees in different forest types, Typical animals and their adaptations, Food chains and webs, The role of forests in the global ecosystem.
Lesson 2:
Week 2: Grassland Biomes
Overview of grassland biomes (savannas, prairies, steppes), Key characteristics (climate, vegetation, and geography), Common plants and grasses in different grassland types, Typical animals and their adaptations, Food chains and webs, The role of grasslands in the global ecosystem.
Lesson 3:
Week 3: Tundra Biomes
Overview of tundra biomes (Arctic, Alpine), Key characteristics: (climate, vegetation, and geography), Common plants and mosses in the tundra, Typical animals and their adaptations, Food chains and webs, The role of tundras in the global ecosystem.
Lesson 4:
Week 4: Aquatic Biomes
Overview of aquatic biomes (freshwater, marine), Key characteristics: (water types, vegetation, and geography) Common plants and algae in different water types, Typical animals and their adaptations, Food chains and webs, The role of aquatic biomes in the global ecosystem.
