In this two day class, learners will explore the different biomes on Earth (Rainforests, Deciduous Forests, Taiga, Tundra, Grassland, Desert, Freshwater, and Marine). Learners will explore the location, weather, plant life and animal life of each biome. They will also locate these different biomes on a map and see their distribution throughout our planet. My classes are structured to utilize different methods for auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners. This class will use various resources to help retain information taught in class including: lectures, slides, videos, worksheets and discussions.
Learning Goals
Learners will explore the different biomes of the world and learn the location, weather, plant and animal life of each biome.

Parental Guidance
Some cutting with scissors may be required for different activities. Safety scissors are always recommended for young learners.
Supply List
Learners will need the following general supplies: - Pencil and eraser - Printer (for worksheets) - Crayons or colored pencils - Scissors - Glue stick

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
