Class experience
Beginner - Intermediate Level

I am a certified veterinary technician and previously state licensed wildlife rehabilitator. My experience in the care of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife spans more than 30 years. I have a MEd from Colorado State University and am now finishing up my second Master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine by spring 2024. I am passionate about teaching learners about these careers and how they may follow their dreams of helping animals.
A handout will be provided

This may be upsetting to some learners. Please be sure that your learner is ready for that knowledge prior to enrolling in this class. Short YouTube video clips of rehab and rehab success stories may be shown in class or safely embedded carefully selected videos may be posted in the classroom for further learning.
